No stopping. History thought Ethiopians that their fore fathers built the Obelisks of Axum, Castles of Gonder, Churches of Lalibela, Jegol of Harar and the many other historical phenomena with perseverance, commitment, togetherness and sacrifices and today's generation considers, #GreatEthiopianRenaisanceDam, #GERD, a continuation of that legacy. While we celebrate the successful filling of the first stage of the #GreatEthiopianRenaisanceDam, #GERD, we owe heartfelt thank you to all who make it happen.

GERD would not have been possible without the wisest and decisive leadership decisions of all Ethiopian leaders. I have so much respect for all negotiating team and for all individuals who fought for it even without explicit responsibility and state payroll.
